Walking Tour of Rome:

In the afternoon, we went on a fascinating walking tour of Rome. We started walking through "REAL" Rome as we traveled through neighborhoods away from the hustle and bustle of tourist spots. It was very intriguing to see how the Romans live, with their narrow alleys, multi-story connected homes, and small stores in the lower levels of the buildings.

Alleys of Rome:

Quite often as we walked in the narrow alleys of Rome, we would step out into huges Piazza (or Squares). Each Piazza would feature something magnificent, such as a great cathedral, a government building converted from a grand palace, marvelous obelisks and fountains created by artists such as Bernini or Volterra.
